I have a friend who just got high-speed Internet service after having used a
dial-up service. She needs to be able to password-protect access to Internet
Explorer and the Internet connection while leaving the computer accessible to
others for other programs.
She has Windows XP Home. She does not have user accounts; everyone is logged
in with the same user account.
Are there features in Windows networking that would allow it to be set up
with a password on the Internet connection? Is there another software product
that would be suitable for this purpose?
