Hi,

A user has their PC up and running in a high traffic area
and wants to be able to password protect her outlook. Is
there a way to do this? I checked the help but could not
find anything. Right now she needs to log off out of
windows is she wants any kind of password protection. It
would be nice to simply have her desktop up and running
but to be able to require a password whenever outlook is
invoked on her machine.

Thanks,

Chuck

Are you using Exchange? Note that you can also lock the workstation by
pressing CTRL+ALT+DEL and choose for Lock Computer (Windows NT, Windows
2000, Windows XP and Windows 2003)

You can password-protect the PST file, and while it will protect the file
from being read, it _won't_ protect the file from being deleted if she
leaved her workstation unlocked when she leaves it. Windows-L will lock it
if she enters a password when she starts her PC.

Wrong program. It's for Outlook Express and not Microsoft Office Outlook
