Password Protecting a table

Just wondering if there's a way to password protect a
specific table?

I know how to password protect a database however I only
want one table to be protected.

Basically, I've got a database which may hold some
personnel data. This data needs to be as private as
possible. I know you can hide tables and have fields
displayed with **** or even reduce the size of a column to
nothing. All of these can easily be overcome if you know a
little access. Would like something a little bit harder to
break, if possible.

Thanks in advance

The only hard security to break is to use Access security. Be prepared for
a steep learning curve. But once you have done it, setting just one table
( or any other object ) secure is easy.

Read the Access security FAQ, several times.
