I am trying to enforce password protected screensavers to thin clients that
are members of a domain.
For some reason even though the screensaver has been set up to use password
on resume it doesn't prompt for it.
If i logon locally as the administrator the screensaver prompts for password
on resume.

Does anyone know how to fix this problem?

(I actually posted this on the Windows for Devices forums at
http://www.windowsfordevices.com/cg...&Idle=0&Sort=0&Order=Descend&Page=0&Session=;
however, I'll just X-Post the response here as well so if someone runs
across this thread they can see the answers as well.)

Hi Mike -
Unfortunately I was not able to reproduce your issue. I built a runtime with
the following components, ran an auto check dependencies, built, and it
seemed to work fine for me.

a.. My imported PMQ

a.. Explorer Shell

a.. Winlogon

a.. User Interface Core -> I checked both "Show Context Menus" boxes

a.. Screen Savers

a.. Display Control Panel -> So I could set the screensaver options

a.. System Control Panel -> So I could join the domain

a.. English Language Support

a.. FAT && NTFS

a.. NTLDR (as opposed to EWF NTLDR)

a.. Domain Participation -> So I could join the domain

a.. TCP/IP Networking with File Sharing and Client For MS Networks
Are you missing anything from the above list? From these "base" components;
how is your config different?
