password protected connect to window when networking

I've attempted to network a dell 4550 w/xp and a new
toshiba a15 with Dlink router di514 and wireless pc card
dwl650. Everything seems to be communicating with router
but can't get by this request to type in password for
when accessing each other. Tried enabling guest on both
pc's and didn't work-created another issue
any help would be appreciated thanks

Run the Network Setup Wizard on both computers to fully enable file
sharing. Tell it that the computers connect to the Internet through a
"residential gateway".
