New XP Home user.

I have a small wireless network that includes 2 Windows 98 computers and
1 Windows 95 computer. Now I want to add my new XP laptop to this
network (which I have done but with the following issue):

Win 98 and WIN 95 allow you to designate folders to be shared on the
network but also to assign a password to protect the folders/files. I
see how to designate the folders to share on the XP Home computer, but I
don't receive any prompt about assigning a password.

How does one assign a password to protect the folders that are to be shared?

Thanks,

Are you trying to protect these folders from being accessed by a
computer or by a user?
