Password protect page

How can I limit access to a web page and also to a

If you're on an intranet or expect a limited number of
authorized visitors:

1. Put the protected page in its own folder.
2. Convert that folder to a subweb.
3. Remove anonymous access from the subweb.
4. Create accounts for each authorized visitor (unless
such accounts already exist.)
5. Grant each authorized visitor access to the new subweb.

If you want the sort of system where visitors identify
themselves, you e-mail them a confirmation message, and
the visitor clicks a link in that message to prove they
received it, FrontPage has no such capability. You would
have to program this in ASP or ASP.NET, or purchase a
third-party solution.
