Password protect individual Outlook folders

Is there any way to provide some sort of additional protection to a
particular Inbox folder in Outlook, such as not allow read access
without a password prompt.

The motivation for this is that I do not want to password protect
Outlook itself since other people in the office may need to read my
email, but i would like to password protect a "Personal" folder.

Any help would be most appreciated.

What about removing the permissions compeltely for that
folder?

Right click on the folder, click Permissions, and remove
anyone who is there. Make sure the default permission is
None.

I did exactly what you said to do, but I can still browse the mailitems
inside. I want something that will prevent someone (including me) from
seeing anything inside the folder even if i am logged in to outlook.

The less desirable but tolerable solution is to password protect outlook
on open. However, I do not even know how to do this.

Create a new PST that is password-protected and move into it those folders
you wish others not to access.
