Password protect a folder

I need some help in password protecting a folder I created on the web server
side in FrontPage 2003. Unfortunately my web hosting provider does not have
a way for me to password protect a folder through the hosting control panel
and when I asked my hosting provider, password protection of a folder as I
was told is possible through FrontPage. I searched online help as well as
Office Online but I could not find an answer. Any help would be appreciated

Your host will have to support subwebs and unique permissions under the FP Server Extensions
