Hi,
When I save a presentation created in office XP AND
password protect it, it cannot be opened by Office 2000,
I can open it no problem if I take out the password, I
saved it as office 97, 2002, 95 in the
Options>settings>save tab on the office Xp machine, any
ideas appreciated.

You can also remove the password, and save as a PowerPoint presentation which
will keep the filesize down if you do not need to be backward compatible with
PowerPoint 95. Unfortunately password protecting your presentation will not
allow earlier versions of PowerPoint to view it.
