This does NOT help this particular issue... The password saved is
correct, its an issue with Outlook being able to connect to the mail
server (I think). If there is a lag, its timing out and displaying
this dialog box. If we click OK, it may or may not work. However,
continuously clicking OK as the dialog appears will finally get a
successful mail delivery.
Never does one have to reenter their password, so the password /
username info is not corrupted. There is something else wrong here.
This fix, I believe, is for folks having problems with missing or
invalid passwords.
I'm a technical user of 15 years, software developer, etc... this is
has been a stumper for me. It needs some serious resolution. I
personally think there is a corrupt or problematic system file causing
this.
