installed ISA in windows 2000 server in integrated mode.
when i use the secure server option in ISA server it made
some changes in the Active Directory. Now whenever i want
to add new user it display me the error that " Check the
password complexity, minimum password length or password
history ". I checked each and every thing in Group Policy
even disable all the password complexity and minimum
length options, uninstall the ISA server, removed that
server from domain and then again join it but nothing
happened same error come again and again... Is there any
possibility to make Active Directory to its default value
without loosing any data ......Please help me out to solve
this problem

First off password complexity is not really a bad thing to have enabled and second
thing is always keep current backups including the System State of your domain
controllers [at least pdc fsmo] which can save you a lot of grief in times like this.
Having Ghost type images is also a good idea in order to quickly restore a computer.
Having said that, open your "Domain Security Policy" and make changes to your
password/account policy there and do not leave anything undefined, particularly
password complexity which you want to disable. If you happen to have more than the
default GPO in the domain container you may need to make the changes in the top GPO
in the list for the domain. Find the domain container in AD Users and Computers and
right click for properties/Group Policy to see the GPO's for the domain.--- Steve
