Password Policy - Reminder Annoying!

I've set up my password policy in my GPO but everytime after a few days it reminds me that my password will expire in 20 days, then 19, etc.

How can I configure this to let me know 1/2 days before it expires?
 
GP Edit -> Computer Configuration -> Windows Settings -> Security
Settings -> Local Policies -> Security Options -> "Prompt user to change
password before expiration"

You can enable it and type any value in "days" field.

I configured this on one of my OUs GPOs (not the default Domain Policy) I first tried what Igor said but it did not work.

Chriss3, some people say to stay away from making any changes in the Default Domain Policy and to rather create new policies. Is this right? Will I just go ahead and configure my default domain policy for this

Currently the only thing being configured in my default domain policy is my SUS Updates.

I've just changed that setting the default domain policy and it worked, it does not prompt me anymore

But still my question is how good or bad is it to make changes in the Default Domain Policy?

[Christoffer Andersson] The password policy should be define here. actuelly
it have to be at the domain node. You can how ever create another policy and
move it higher than the default at the domain node. But i recommed to keep
the password policy to the Default one, other settings should be defined in
others as you said.
