Does anyone know if there is a cure for the "Enter Network Password"
box which pops up intermittently? I have read and tried the fixes
advised by Microsoft (including deleting the user sub key folder) but
it still appears.
Please, please, someone help me with this - it's driving me mad!! There
must be a fix for it!!!

Find the Exchange Server Service (Might be Tools | Services or Tools |
E-mail accounts; you didn't specify which version of Outlook you're using)
go into the Advanced or Security properties tab. You may need set authentication
to "NT Authentication" or uncheck the "Always prompt for user authentication"
checkbox.

Thanks for your reply. Sorry, I am using Outlook 2002 and it's a POP3 type account. The OS is Windows 2000 Professional.

This problem is version-specific. You didn't think stating your version of
Outlook was important, so it's difficult to help. However, go to
http://support.microsoft.com/ and search the knowledgebase for "save
password" for your version of Outlook. You'll probably find your answer.

If you are still having problems after applying both the SP 1 & 2 patches,
then see if this article addresses your problemL
