Password or File Transfer?

I have only one account on my hardrive. While I was
looking something up on the account, I suddenly realized
I had forgotten the password! I tried as hard as I could
to remember, then I tried removing the password, checking
the password hint, but nothing helped. I created a new
account right then, but all of my important files, and my
music are in that first account. Is there a way to get my
password, or to transfer all of my files to this new
account?
 
your second account have administrative rights?
