In outlook express I used to be able to set a password that you had to type
in before it would open. Has this feature been removed from Windows Mail?
TIA

Hi Rodyn, I have on the bottom of the page some suggestions for you. Let me
know if it works out.

Sincerely,

Bill Shaw

Hello Everyone,

I have all this saved mail that I took out of my sent folder and stored it
in another folder.
I would like to resend it to the same people (one person at a time) at a
later date, but
if I use the "forward" command I will have to re-type the recipients address
on each one.
Does this new beta (Windows Live) have a simple "resend" command?
Thanx!!
Pat

You are referring to the Identifies feature that was in Outlook Express.
Windows Mail does not have that feature. Microsoft removed it
because it wasn't really secure, although it gave that impression.

If you need the additional security or privacy, you will have to set up
separate Windows user logins.
Alternatively, you can purchase a third party add-on:

There is no password feature for WM. MS expects you to use different Vista
user accounts (which can be password protected), so each user can have their
own settings, folders, email, etc.
