Password on IE???

How can Internet Explorer be configured so that one would need its password
in order to open it? Or is there a better way to prevent users in a lab from
getting on the internet unless they have permission?

Which OS? Which File System? With NTFS you could use
File Properties, Security to Allow or Deny Execute permission for
iexplore.exe to a particular user account or group.

BTW this newsgroup is meant for discussing IE end-user issues.
You could probably find better help on this topic from newsgroups
which specialize in Security or Administration for your OS.
