Password NOT saved

Can anyone help with the following problem.

Outlook, with windows XP will NOT save my password for getting my email!

I have looked at all of Microsoft's Knowledge base on this, but cannot find
and answer.

Any Help will be appreciated.

You do have the SAVE PASSWORD box checked right. If you do you may need to use your Outlook disc to repair the program
