Hi,
I installed win small business server 2003 on a customer machine. The password is not being accepted says invalid logon for administrator. I tried the other logon with administrator authority but says it can not logon in interative mode. What is going on here. The passwords were not changed and had no expiration. What does the second error mean. If I get into the machine in a cmd mode is there a way to run the MMC in the second logon or to logon without using the logon screen that gives the interactive error?
All help will be appreciated.
Bob

You'll need to use the password you set when you installed SBS. Unless you
changed that password after the complete install. Are you trying to logon
locally to the server or from somewhere else?

I am trying to logon at the server console. Is there a way to logon as a user with the admin authority from the command prompt? I keep getting the you do not have access to error 5 whentryiny net user myacct mypswd /domain .
What is causing this error and do not say no access authoity.
Thanks

Huh? Only the administrator has local logon rights on the server. Can you
connect from another machine? Have you been 'playing' with group policies?
When did all this started happening?
