Hi Peter,
Things to look for
1) Check if your password manager is simulating keyboard typing when it
is inserting your password. If it is, then you are still susceptible to
keyboard loggers.
2) Check if your password manager requires you to use copy+paste from
the
clipboard. If you are (using the clipboard), then you are still
susceptible. Trojans can easily steal your password by peeking into the
clipboard.
3) Check if your password file is "portable" - i.e. you can store it
into your USB
4) Check if your password file is "encrypted" - The encryption must be
unique even if you are storing the same data.
5) Check if your password file itself can be "locked" by a password
6) Check if you can only modify your password file at a "safe
location". That means that even if someone stole your password file,
they cannot view your password file.
7) Check if your password file only works at the "location" approved by
you.
Other things to consider:-
Since you are using it in an IE environment, you should watch for other
phishing tricks to trick you and/or capture your screen.
