Hi Everyone!

I'm trying to network my 2000 pro laptop to my wifes 98 desktop. All is
fine. I got the printer going and I can see her hard drive from my laptop.
But, when I try to see my laptop from her desktop, I get a password
request. I don't recall putting a password on anything, and I can't find a
password on the laptop anywhere to delete.

What's going on?

Thanks,

Bill

You need to create a local useraccount on the Win2K computer with the same
name and password that is used when logging on to the Win98 computer. If
you're not using a login on the Win98 computer, make sure the guest account
on the Win2K computer is enabled and has access to the resources.
