Hey everyone,
I'm pretty new with Microsoft, and when I started I decided I should get a
password to the entry of my computer. You know, where you have all the users
at the beginning when you start up the computer? Well I got a password, and I
can't remember it.

Is there anyway to retrieve that?
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

See here. If the first few things don't help you [for example, the default
Administrator password in XP is blank, you can boot into Safe Mode to reset
your user password that way], there is a password reset boot floppy called
NTPASSWD in a link about halfway down through that article.

Why do you have to read all that before you get the link to the boot disk?
There are a few gotchas to resetting your password in XP. For example, you
might have trouble decrypting any files that you encrypted using Windows EFS
after doing so.
