In PowerPoint 2002 and 2003 you can set two levels of passwords. 1) an
open password that prevents unauthorized users from opening your
presentation, 2) a modify password the allow others to edit your
presentation. If someone opens and changes the document without the
password to modify, that person can save the document only by giving it a
different file name.
