Hello,
I have followed - almost to the letter (I didn't put the PES key on a
floppy) - the instructions on using the password export server as part
of an Active Directory migration. While running the account migration
wizard, when it comes time to specify a password export server I get a
dialog box that says the following:
Unable to establish a session with the password export server. The
local machine does not have an encryption key for the source domain
'BBBBBB'. Please install a local encryption key. See ADMT help for
more information on password migration.
I generated a key in the target domain 'AAAAAA', transferred the key
file to the local hard drive on 'BBBBBB' and installed it as part of
the PES setup. I then set the 'AllowPasswordExport' registry key to
'1', rebooted and started the PES service.
I've reinstalled PES multiple times to no avail.
I don't really know where to go from here...
