Hello,
When the user's domain password reaches its half life,
the next time user logs on to the domain he/she receives
the message that thier password will expire in x days. If
the user replies "No" to change password, the next time
they are notified of password change is 3 days before the
password expires.
My questions are,
1. Can I select the number of days before the user is
notified that their password will expire.
2. Where do I change the setting that will increase the
frequency of the password expiration notice sent to the
user, ( For example, if the user has 4 days left before
the password expires, I want the user notified all 4 days
when they logon to the domain).

Thanks to all for your help.

Regards,

Shariq

that is wierd, on my domain, it will ask each time you log in until you
change it. But to be honest, I am not sure where your setting is wrong.

OK, for point 1, there is a group policy setting
under 'Computer Config->Windows Settings->Security
Settings->Local Policies->Security Options'
called 'Prompt User to Change Password'.

I believe this will prompt the user to change their
password at every logon, so there should be no need for
point 2.
