Password does not valid

I've set a new password to an administrator but when I
try to log on windows 2000 professional, it shows that my
password does not valid. How can I get access to my
computer and what should I do? Because I don't have any
user account.

Use tip 1984 in the 'Tips & Tricks' at http://www.jsiinc.com to reset the
Administrator password.

Make sure the CAPS lock is not set.

Switch of the Pc and then open the case and locate the
battery,remove the battery and then return it back make
sure you do not tamper with any of the computer settings
and the mother board.This will automatically erase any
passwords set on the computer.
