Password dialog opens when using Explorer

Many times when I open a folder in Windows Explorer, my FP2003 password
dialog opens. This can be when I have not even used FP in several days, and
it is not open at the time this happens. I've noticed it happens when I open
a folder with photos, but it may have happened other times too. I cancel it
about 5 times and it will go away for a while, then pop up again later. I do
not wish to log on to my remote server, where I have a website, if I'm not
currently using FP.
Anybody have this problem?

The password dialogue is not from FrontPage - it is from the server. It
seems you have a folder or mapped drive on the server that requires a login
and is being accessed from Windows Explorer.

I hope this isn't a double post, my last post never appeared.
Thanks Ronx for the reply. I do have a link to my website in Explorer's "My
Network Places." I bet that's the problem. The private folder is probably
doing it. I will remove it and read up on the subject.

Links in My Network Places are not usually the problem - if they were I
would be logging on to a handful of servers every time I opened Win
Explorer.
