Yes, there is: Log on under "administrator" and use the password that you
entered when first loading Windows 2000.

You might try to reset the local Administrator password
with one of the methods mentioned here:

Not to mention that any donated computers SHOULD be reformatted and re-installed fresh.

In this world, you never know exactly what was placed (and or deleted but still lying around) on the hard disk.
