Look for : Protected Storage PassView v1.62

In future, get a book, write the passwords down and store in a safe place.

Hi I am having difficulties getting into my administrator account, I put in a
new password in a rush , and have forgotten it... I was wondering if there is
a way to get it mailed to me... The only account that I can access is my
guest account... I really hope I can be helped.. I feel so helpless right
now.. I have been 10, hours and still at it...trying to figure out away in...
thank-you for your time!

You should realy start a new thread and not add your question onto some
one else's, you will get more responses related to your request if you
do that.

You do not state which version of XP, if it is the Home edition start
up in Safe Mode (reboot and start tapping the F8 key immediately the
machine goes through its POST stage (ie straight after the memory
test)), from Safe Mode login as Administrator with a blank password,
then go to the User Accounts Control Panel and change the password for
the account in question.

Of course if the inbuilt Administrator account is the one you changed
or you are using XP Pro then :-

Go to http://home.eunet.no/~pnordahl/ntpasswd/ and download the boot
disk, this will enable you to reset any system password on an NT class
operating system.
