Hi all !
Is there anybody that knows how I can pass through the
regional settings of TS Client to the TS session ?
I have users working around the world and when they travel
from one place to the other I want to use the regional
settings for the location where they are, for the
workstation this is easy to solve but how can I use the
same regional settings as the workstation on the Terminal
server ? The users have a roaming profile for the
workstations as also a roaming profile for the Terminal
Server session.
Thanks in advance for any ideas.

This functionality isn't available in Windows 2000
terminal services unless you use a third party addon.
Windows 2003 will do this automatically for you though.

Do I need to enable something special under windows 2003
to get this settings running ? I just made some tests and
the regional settings are still taked from the server
instead the user. I also could not found any setting sin
the rdp protocol or the user itself under Active Directory
User and Computers.

Thanks in advance and best regards,

Berni

Yes, this feature is disabled by default, since it depends on
correctly configured regional settings at the client.
You can change this in the Allow Time Zone Redirection Group
Policy setting. This policy is located in Windows
Components/Terminal Services.
