I finally found the right group to post this "problem" to...sorry for
the unitentional spamming...
I'm having a stupid problem with Windows Messenger that I can't
resolve. I can't sign in with my e-mail/password (passport) and when
I try to retrieve it from the MSN site, I get one of those funky "This
site is not available" pages. However, my e-mail address is correct..
I know this because I am able to log in from other places. I also
know that it is correct because I was able to use it earlier (after I
recovered my PC from a horrendous problem). I'm trying to install
Windows Messenger 5.0 (currently 4.7) but it wasn't working too well
when I left for work this morning..so I'm not sure if it's done.
There seems to be a plethora of knowledge in this group so here's a
set of generic questions:
What is the diff between MSN Messenger and Windows Messenger? Can
both programs exist on the same machine at the same time and what is
the current version of MSN so I can get it if I want.
