Q. I have an ongoing battle with Microsoft Passport and my ISP, Verizon.
These Microsoft services, among others, use passport:
Subscriptions Center and Community News group posts (to receive notification);
In both cases a confirmation message is sent to me. I never receive this
message; therefore, the transaction is not completed. Microsoft says that
Verizon E-Mail filters are stopping the message. Verizon denies that to be
true.
I have my Verizon safe list set to accept messages from
(e-mail address removed).
There are no messages in any of my Verizon folders - Inbox, SpamDetector or
Blocked.
I don’t think this problem is unique to me. Many people using Verizon must
have the same problem.
I set up a passport account for my wife and got the same results trying use
the Subscription Center.
This problem has been outstanding since March and I have exceeded my allowed
passport "pending limit".
Does anyone have a solution?
Thanks
