passive FTP

With IE 6.0 (including all updates), Win XP home, HP
pavilion ze5185 laptop, passive FTP's lock up. According
to the KB #816037, I need a new DLL. But I can't find it
on the DL pages. Trying to go to support, I'm asked to
pay.

Now what?

Start->Run-> SFC /scannnow

when you run this it will check for missing/deleted files. You WILL need
your Windows XP CD.

I will try that, but according to the KB, I need a new
DLL, not the one in the distribution. I can't find the DLL
in the download pages. How can I get it?

Thanks for the URL but that doesn't help. dll-files.com
has Filedescription: v. 5.00.2614.3500 and the KB article
says I need 6.0.2800.1171

Maybe it is worth to do a search on www.google.com for this file!? Or have
you already done that? Otherwise try to post in
microsoft.public.win98.gen_discussion, it is always someone who seems to
have answers to anything.
