Nuno,
Paul gave you the right answer. You would use the ADMT v2 tool to do this.
But, that requires that a trust be set up between the two 'forests' and
that the destination domain be in WIN2000 Native Mode.
If you wanted a quick and dirty way to do this that simply requires a floppy
disk then I might suggest that you take a look at ldifde to create an .ldf
file from the first domain, make the necessary changes to the content of
that .ldf file ( such as changing the dc=firstdomain,dc=com to
dc=seconddomain,dc=com ) and then import it via ldifde to the second domain.
But, what are you doing?
Do you have a single domain in which you are running two WIN2000 Domain
Controllers? You have created all of the user account objects on the first
Domain Controller and you want to make sure that they are also on the second
Domain Controller? If this is the case then all you need to do is let
Active Directory Replication take place ( I am assuming that both DCs are in
the same Site and that we are talking about intrasite Replication ). By
default, this is set to five minutes ( between Domain Controllers ).
