Passing details from a form to a report

Hi, I wonder if you could help or even point me in the right direction.

I want to pass details from a form to create a report. For example, I have
a form with a students details on. I want to click a button that will then
run a report, a report will be created for that student. Instead of manually
entering this the student ID in to a prompt box when the report is ran, I
want it to use the ID of the student im currently viewing on the form. So a
click of a button will mean a report is generated for the student im
viewing.

Is this possible?

No, its working fine. Its for a college assignment, i was told it was not
possible to do, but i was sure there must have been a way. Anyway, thank
you very much, i have also added the mvps site to my favorites - very
usefull site, im sure i will use it alot.
