Try opening the audio file in Windows Movie
Maker and drag it to the Audio / Music track
of the timeline.
If you play the file you will see a vertical line
moving across the clip. You can pause the
music and drag the line to any position you
require by placing your pointer on the square
at the top of the line.
Split the clip by dragging the pointer to the
correct position and click the "Split" button
just below your view screen (or type Ctrl+L).
When you have the splits where you want
them...you can right click / delete the unwanted
portions of the file. Now...be sure to left click /
drag the edited clip all the way to the left on
the timeline.
Now just go to...File / Save Movie File...etc...etc....
and the result will be a .wma file.
