Hi:

When I'm writing applications, the screen won't refresh properly. For example, when I put in a group box, sometimes the border won't be showing. Or other times, the grid won't be showing, or parts of it will be missing. It's very annoying to deal with this while making a form. I made just a couple screenshots of this.

I would think it's a video card problem, but every application I has no problems. Only with Visual studio. I've tried reinstalling my video card driver (with the latest version) but that didn't help. I reinstalled visual studio, and that didn't help either. I also turned off all the Windows XP visual effects, and still get the problem.

If anyone has any ideas, it would be a life saver. My only other idea at this point is doing a clean install of my OS, but I'd hate to do it.

Thanks a million.

Has this just started happening, or has this been happening since intall. If
just started, what have you done or changed lately ?

It may be that you have a hardware problem on your machine. I would suggest
that you obtain and run some hardware diagnostics and run them,
alternatively try reparing your operating system using the repair function
of XP installer.

Mhm... I only saw this problem caused by graphics card drivers. What
graphics card/driver do you use?

Hi

Well, I did a fresh install of my OS tonight. It's been a long night reinstalling things, but at least this issue has been solved. I have no idea what it was.
