"The selected volume was originally created on a basic disk and cannot be
extended. Only volumes originally created on dynamic disks can be extended"

Is the message on my C drive the boot drive its mirrored on another system.
PartitionMagic and diskpart doesn't support dynamic disk other utilities or
options to do this?
I am considering ghosting the drive (C) and then putting in a new HD and
restoring the ghost image to that new bigger drive would this help? or I
would be same place if started from .... or in ghost if if do partition to
disk?? Any ideas would be appreciated.

Ghost would work fine for this, but make sure that you remove the
older drive before rebooting!
