Dear All,

Recently, I've bought a new PC with pre-installed Windows
XP Home. I want to partition my 120 GB harddisk without
the need to destroy and re-install Windows XP. What is the
way to do it?

Thanks in advance for your reply(s).

You will need third party partitionong software. The two most recommended
examples from this newsgroup are provided below.

BootIT NG from Terabyte

PartitionMagic from PowerQuest

Dear Harri,

Thank you for your posting.

If you want to resize the partition without destroying the data, we must
use a special disk partition tool such as Partition Magic. This third party
utility can offer such a feature. For your convenience, I have included its
link:

http://www.powerquest.com/partitionmagic/

NOTE: The third party product mentioned here manufactured by a company that
is independent of Microsoft; we just provide the information for your
reference. For the detailed information about this utility, please contact
Powerquest.

Thanks and have a good day!
