I have a 120 gig ide drive on which I installed win xp
pro. I cannot get it to partition. It is set up NTFS all
as partition G:.
How can I partition it tp smaller partitions? This is the
boot disk. I am the only user with admin priviledges. Do
I ned to start over with the installation and do
something different?? This is a new install.
Thanks so much!

You can "start over" and partition your drive or, use a third party App.
such as Partition Magic. You can't partition from within XP itself.

Hi, The only way to do it without losing all your data is to purchase a
program like Partition Magic. The Windows XP CD-ROM is bootable and will
allow partitioning during the Windows XP Setup, but again if you do it from
within the setup you will lose all of your data.
