This is a message I recieved from my boss that I have to
resolve via e-mail any suggestions as to what happen here?

A client needs some help cleaning up his partitioned hard
drive. Here are the details. Windows 2000 OS with a
partitioned hard drive (C & E). He runs his accounting
software and UPS software on this computer, along with a
few other programs such as Word and Printshop. He moved
the UPS software and Mind Your Own Business (acct.
software) to the E drive and left everything else on the C
drive. During the move, something has remained on the C
Drive and he is now getting an error message on C drive -
"There is less than 10 MB available on each of the
following drives: C:\ This may cause slow performance and
potential data loss." He usually gets this error
message on start up and he just clicks Okay and he is able
to use the computer, but periodically, it will just shut
down w/o warning. This is the main issue. The second
issue is to clean up both drives..low volume programs on
the C Drive and everything else on E.

He almost guarenteed has the following message in his event logs

"the system has rebooted from a bugcheck. The bugcheck was ... "

Also, the 2 problems are likely related. Esp if the stop error is
0x0000001E.

Read page 89 of your win2k manual.

A system with less than 10 MBytes of free space on the
system drive is a crippled system. Install a larger hard disk
immediately - they are ridiculously cheap these days. This
might solve all your problems.
