Hi,
Without using third party software, the only way to combine them is to start
from scratch. You would need to boot the WinXP CD, start a new installation,
remove both partitions, then create just one new one, format, then install.
Partitioning programs:
BootIT NG
www.terabyteunlimited.com
Partition Magic
www.powerquest.com/partitionmagic
Partition Commander
http://www.v-com.com/product/pc_ind.html
Ranish Partition Manager
http://www.ranish.com/part/
Any of the above program should be able to help you.

I made a partition on my 120 GB hard drive. One part is 5 GB and the
other is 115 GB. I want to delete the partition and combine the two back
up. How do I do that? I have already formatted the 115 GB, but it won't let
me format the 5 GB part. And even so I can't find a way to combine them.
How do I fix this? I wouldn't even mind restarting Windows XP from scratch.
