Partition of working C drive

Is it possible to partition a 60 gb C drive once the XP OS
and other programs have been installed to create a C and D
drive with a 30/70 (or there abouts) ration of space.?
 
If you use something like Partition Magic, it's possible.. There are
others, but that's the only one I've tried....
