I want to work with a harddisk from a NT workstation.
The disk is 8GB partitioned as 2 and 6 GB.
I use Fdisk and i don't manage to get into the 6GB altough FDISK give me the
message that this partition iqs OK.
I can not remove the partition?
What must i do????
Thanks for the help.

oops:
Disk is from an NT workstation. Nevermind previous post.
What operating system are you using? The NT disk may have a 2GB FAT16
partition and a 6GB NTFS partition. If your OS is Windows 9.x (95, 98,
ME), you can see the FAT16 but not the NTFS.

If the OP goes to microsoft.com and finds the updated FDISK.EXE for Win98 he
shouldn't have too much problem deleting any non-DOS partition - including any
NTFS partition...

I just create a boot floppy and use Zap from ibm, writes zeros
to the fat. Best/quickest way to fix hosed hard drives. Try taking
drives off a raid stripe and reusing in a non-stripe system, uck.
Even windows xp cd boot doesn't seem to be able to handle
the old boot partition. You can slave the drive into a xp system and use
adm tools to kill the partition and fat also.
