Partition increase drive space

Hello

I would like to find out what the easiest way is to
increase space on an existing drive. I have about 50 gigs
on d and would like to add some space on c. c has about 3
gigs

Two ways:

1. Invest your time: backup; repartition; reformat; restore, or

2. Invest your money: Partition Magic (about $70) or something similar.

if you upgrade the disks to dynamic disks you can span the volumes...
