hi all, i had a question if anyone can tell me if this is doable with my
current configuration

i have windows xp(sp2) home on my c: drive (cdrom's are d: and e:)
i have a empty f: drive where i hold my data (that i have backed up)
i installed a clean install of vista RC1(5600) on my g: drive

i want to install build 5728 on to the f: drive clean, so i have a triple
boot?
then maybe after upgrade the xp to 5600 or 5728 to test an upgrade

will this work?

thanks to all.

Yes It will. I had dual-boot Xp, added Vista 5538 upgraded that to 5600, then
clean installed 5728 on a seperate partition thus having a quadruple-boot.
Make sure you have names on the partitions in case Vista changes the
partition letters so you know which is which. Colin

Yes it will work, but i cannot see the sense of keeping build 5600 when you
are using buld 5728

I don't trust something until I've used it! So I keep earlier versions for a
little while. I don't have any earlier versions of Vista any more. Just my
nicely working XP!
