As my old Partition Magic 5.0 won't run under W2K I assume I'll either have
to pay for new software or reinstall/partition? Yes/No?
Cheers
Gilbert

I believe the answer is 'yes' (i.e., pay for new software or
repartition/reinstall). For an authoritative answer you could post your
question in a newsgroup for Win 2K.

BTW - Norton software is usually discounted/rebated. You can probably pick
up Partition Magic 8.0 (the latest version) for a song.

I thought WindowsXP was (or at least built on) Windows 2000.
(I'm using XP)

Partition Magic 5.0 does not recognize the new iteration of the Windows XP
NTFS file system. Get the current version of Partition Magic.
