Just got an 80GB internal from best buy. I want use it for
backing up my 8GB C drive and for data. Should I partition
it and how do I do this? It is FAT32.

Frank, if you partition the drive you will have less drive space
waste. At least two is preferable. Also, if you decide
to ghost or drive image your C: drive, a separate partition is
required.

i would use the enclosed drive imaging software, and MOVE
all of the 8GB data to the 80GB drive. After that,
reformat the 8GB and use it as the D drive with the 80GB
with the imaged data as the C. the speed will be A LOT
greater. your pc will literally feel twice as fast.
