Partions and application access

Hi all

I have just installed windows xp as a second os on a seperate partion
using partition magic. My question has to do with using my already
installed applications " office etc" in win2k partition without having
to reinstall on the 2nd operating system (XP)

i am fairly new to partioning so forgive the ignorance, it seems a
little counter productive to have to reinstall applications for every OS
system installed.

any tips or web hints are greatfully accepted

Yes, you will have to reinstall those apps, because the
registry entries, libraries, dll's, etc have to be
installed in XP as well. When you install, you can specify
for the apps to reside in the same location as those you
installed for 2k. That way you save some disk space. Good
