Hi. Anyone know if it's easy to partially disassemble a Color LaserJet
8500dn to make it easier to move? Can the print engine be separated
from the trays, or the engine/trays separated from the caster portion?
I've searched the user guide but haven't found anything. Is there a
technician's service manual for this?

Thanks
David

Thanks for the reply. They have a couple chunks of the service manual
in RAR format but they are missing the other RAR files so I couldn't
get a complete file.

Did you notice that there are more than 60 parts to download? Look under
multipart in the download page.

Look for the installation instructions at the HP web site. If it is like
other HP printers, the stand and additional trays can be easily separated
by reversing the installation procedure.

It might take a couple of really strong guys to lift the printer off of
the trays!
